Trevor and Kath are your friendly hosts (both have fantastic knowledge of Holmfirth and its many attractions). We've been in business since 1992, though the building itself dates back all the way to the mid 19th century when it was used as a corn merchants (our name is a nod to the building's heritage).

If you're a history buff, you'll want to explore the National Coal Mining Museum, which is just a short drive away. The famous Hyde Park Picture House is well worth a visit for any appreciators of independent cinema.

The town is perhaps best known as the setting for the popular BBC comedy Last of the Summer Wine. One of the show's most memorable scenes saw its elderly denizens rolling down Holmfirth’s famous hills in a bathtub at breakneck speed!
